OWA Announces Several Events

FOLEY, Ala. — On Saturdays and Sundays, beginning October 8, Downtown OWA in Foley will become “Halloweentown,” with trick-or-treating available every weekend. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can pick up trick-or-treat bags from the clock tower or OWA’s main entrance and visit select locations in Downtown OWA. Children’s activities are available throughout Downtown OWA, including Halloween activity sheets and a “Color Your Own BOOkmark” station. There will also be musical Halloween fountain shows beginning at 6:30 p.m. OWA’s Nightmare Chambers: The Horrific Return haunted house attraction, behind El Diablo Taqueria & Cantina, opens at 7 p.m. Fridays through Sundays and on October 31. There will also be Halloween 4D Movie Nights at the OWA Theater on Saturdays in October.Additionally, Clash eSports & VR Experience is hosting a Super Smash Bros. Tournament on November 12-13 at The Bohemian: An Event Venue, also in Downtown OWA. Registrants will be entered to receive a part of the $1,500 guaranteed prize pool, plus bonus prizes. Registration includes a single guest pass to the Tropic Falls Theme Park, given at check-in, which can be upgraded to a waterpark combo pass. Early check-in is available on November 11.
