Personal Edge Fitness Named A Small Business Of The Year Finalist

Founded in 2000 and led by President Garrett Williamson, Personal Edge Fitness Inc. has been named a finalist for the Mobile Chamber Small Business of the Year award. Every exercise staff member holds at least a bachelor’s degree in fields such as exercise science and sports medicine. In 2024, Personal Edge launched two major initiatives: the B3 Weight Loss Program and Corporate Wellness. The company has been a member of the Mobile Chamber for nearly 20 years and joined its board of advisors in 2024. Williamson, a former president of the Rotary Club of Mobile, serves on the boards of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation and The Peninsula of Mobile, where he champions environmental and educational causes. The company supports local organizations including Light of the Village, Partners for Environmental Progress and Feeding the Gulf Coast through regular volunteer service. The company also partners with Save a Stray, hosting its mobile veterinary unit onsite and providing space and utilities for more than 100 low-cost spay and neuter procedures each week.
