Port City Pacers Fundraisers Coming Up

Midtown Mobile’s Port City Pacers is holding its Turkey 10-Miler, 10K & 5K Run/Walk on November 23 at 8 a.m. at the River Delta Marina in Creola. Participants are asked to bring canned or packaged nonperishable food to the race to donate to Feeding the Gulf Coast. Next is the Holiday Half Marathon & 8K, for which the nonprofit is collecting toys and items for distraction (coloring books, puzzles, craft kits, etc.) for the children at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital and the children in the care of the Child Advocacy Center in Mobile. Participants are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for age ranges infant through 18 years on December 5 at 8 a.m. in Mullet Point Park in Point Clear.
