RHS Names Girls Basketball Coach

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Maurice Mitchell was recently announced as the Robertsdale Golden Bears’ new head girls basketball coach, Gulf Coast Media reported. Mitchell graduated from Robertsdale High School (RHS) in 2010 and previously served as the junior varsity head boys basketball coach for the last five years. This will also be his second year working in the special education department at RHS. Last year, the Golden Bears finished 7-19 overall and lost all seven of their games in Class 6A’s Area 2.
