Riverboat Cruise Ship Coming To Mobile

The Port of Mobile will welcome a riverboat cruise ship as part of the inaugural Gulf Coast Cruise of American Cruise Lines’s American Symphony. The Gulf Coast itinerary is a one-way, eight-day cruise between New Orleans and Pensacola. The inaugural voyage departed New Orleans on March 1 and will arrive in Mobile as a port of call on March 6. American Symphony, one of the cruise line’s modern Mississippi riverboats, was built in 2022 and can hold 180 guests. During their approximately 12 hours in port, cruisers are offered excursions to visit area attractions, restaurants, cultural centers and more, or may explore the city on their own. The ship will return to Mobile three times in March and again in November and December to close the 2026 cruise season. Trips for 2027 are available for booking.
