Ted Middleton Boat Ramp Reopens

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources State Lands Division has announced that renovations to the Ted Middleton Boat Ramp on Battleship Parkway directly across from the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile are complete. The facility is open to the public after its closure in May 2021 for a major upgrade. Work included the boat ramp’s replacement and improvements to the parking area. The existing docks were also expanded to accommodate additional vessels. The newly expanded docks are built with flow-through decking to better withstand damage from tropical weather events. Public boating access locations along Alabama’s Gulf Coast are listed on the website.
