Tee It Up For Veterans Charity Golf Tournament To Be Held November 2

The Daphne Knights of Columbus will host the Tee It Up for Veterans charity golf tournament on November 2 at Quail Creek Golf Course in Fairhope. Check-in is at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A $120 entry fee includes green fees, a golf cart, lunch, mulligans, range balls, two beverage coupons, a raffle ticket for prizes donated by local businesses and a “goodie bag.” Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning teams with low gross and net scores, the player with the longest drive, the winner of a putting contest and more. Prizes will be awarded for a hole-in-one on designated par-three holes, including an automobile sponsored by Terry Thompson Chevrolet with a $500 MasterCard gift card, a $25,000 payout, a year of Omaha Steaks and a year of Bridgestone golf balls. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette and Vets Recover in Mobile to assist veterans who suffer from mental health issues, suicidal tendencies and homelessness.
