Tram The Town May Start Running In October

MOBILE, Ala. — A new tourist attraction for Downtown Mobile might be ready by the fall, WKRG recently reported. Co-owned by Scott Tindle, Tram the Town repurposes old movie studio tour vehicles in hopes of providing a variety of tours and entertainment options around the city. It is currently in its infancy, and one of its next steps is getting approval from the Mobile city council. The trams used to shuttle tourists around Universal studios in the 1960s, and they are currently being cleaned and refurbished.
