USSA Now United States Sports University

The United States Sports Academy (USSA) has announced its official name change to the United States Sports University (USSU). This change, marking the institution’s continued growth and commitment to academic excellence, reflects ambition to further solidify its position as a leader in higher education. The name change comes after a period of enrollment growth, program expansion and the introduction of intercollegiate athletics teams at USSU, which has seen increasing demand for academic programs that cater to a diverse and growing student body. The shift will also allow the institution to enhance its academic offerings, build stronger partnerships within the sports industry and other universities, and provide new opportunities for students and alumni. The university is also launching new program offerings, including an MBA to pair with its undergraduate business administration degree through USSU’s Cronan-Summitt School of Sport Business. The university is exploring changes to its logo and branding.
