USSU Completes Athletic Facility Renovations, Including Weight Rooms

United States Sports University (USSU) completed approximately $500,000 in athletic facility renovations this summer, transforming key spaces used for student-athlete performance, training, treatment and rehabilitation. The summer project included major improvements to USSU’s Human Performance Lab, athletic weight room, athletic training room, hydration infrastructure and performance equipment. The most visible transformation occurred in the weight room, where USSU nearly doubled the available square footage by removing a wall separating existing spaces. The expansion provides significantly more room for strength and conditioning activities while improving the overall flow and functionality of the facility. Beyond the additional space, the weight room received air conditioning, widened door frames, refreshed paint and lighting, new sport-specific flooring and new strength and conditioning equipment. USSU also installed new water fountains throughout the building.
