USSU First In U.S. To Receive Ethos Universitas Recognition

Daphne’s United States Sports University (USSU) announced it has become the first university in the U.S. to receive the international Ethos Universitas recognition from the PCU Committee of Panathlon International. The historic recognition acknowledges USSU’s institutional commitment to academic integrity, ethical leadership, social responsibility and the values of the Olympic Movement. Ethos Universitas is an international initiative of the PCU Committee of Panathlon International, an organization dedicated to promoting the cultural and ethical values of sport. Founded in Venice, Italy, in 1951, Panathlon International was formally recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1982 for its commitment to advancing the principles of Olympism. Since USSU’s recognition, Mount Saint Mary’s University has also joined the international initiative, reflecting its continued growth among American institutions.
