Baldwin EMC Names VP Of External Affairs, Economic Development

The Baldwin County Electric Membership Corporation (Baldwin EMC) has announced Lee Johnson as its new vice president (VP) of external affairs and economic development. Johnson will lead Baldwin EMC’s governmental relations, community engagement efforts and strategic economic development initiatives across the region. He previously served as executive VP for the Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, where he managed the organization and led economic development efforts on behalf of both the organization and the community. Prior to that, he was senior manager of field operations for the Tennessee Valley Authority in Nashville, where he oversaw 15 regional development consultants and six technical services specialists/engineers.
