Fairhope To Repair Pier Itself

City of Fairhope workers will repair the damage caused to the municipal pier from Hurricane Zeta, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reports. Officials said the move could save Fairhope approximately $200,000 over bids received from contractors. The pier has been without water, sewer and electrical service since October 28, 2020. Public Works Director Richard Johnson and Water and Sewer Department Director Jason Langley supported the decision for city workers to repair the damage.
