JMF Gets $6.3-Million Broadband Grant

Daphne-based JMF Solutions has been awarded a $6.3-million grant as part of Gov. Kay Ivey’s initiative to expand broadband access in Alabama. Part of a $188-million statewide grant, it is dedicated to supporting middle-mile broadband projects. JMF said it “will play a crucial role in this initiative, overseeing four key projects spanning over 1,169 mi., covering various counties and positively impacting 24 anchor institutions.” JMF offers technology services including fiber, cloud and data centers tailored to mid-market, enterprise and wholesale clients. It operates its own network and connects multiple states.
