Recycling Survey Open, Meetings Scheduled

The City of Mobile is partnering with municipalities across Mobile County to study how recycling services in the area may be improved and expanded. A survey is being used to obtain input from residents across the county about how they currently recycle and their interest in various recycling options, Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. “Getting baseline data about the broader community’s interest in recycling will help us make more informed decisions in the future,” he added. Additionally, upcoming meetings have been planned for May 23 at the Bayou La Batre Community Center at 1 p.m. and at the Connie Hudson Senior Center at 6 p.m. and for May 24 at the Saraland Civic Center at 1 p.m.
