SWDA Of Baldwin County Recycles Day Celebration Tomorrow

The Solid Waste Disposal Authority (SWDA) of Baldwin County is holding an America Recycles Day Celebration on November 15 at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at its facility at 15101 Terra Bella Drive in Summerdale. The free hands-on community event is designed to educate and inspire residents about the importance of recycling. There will be interactive exhibits, live entertainment, recycling truck demonstrations, facility tours, opportunities to sign up for curbside recycling, recycling program updates, food trucks, local vendors, arts and crafts activities, a bounce house and face painting for children, and other activities for the whole family. Free recycle totes will be given to the first 100 guests, and local recycling experts will be available to talk about upcoming programs and new ways to get involved in recycling.
