The Gulf Shores Planning Commission recently approved plans for Langston Animal Hospital’s planned 12,384-ft2 veterinary hospital, Gulf Coast Media reported. The 4.55-acre site is along the west side of Highway 59 and is to have 64 parking spaces. The facility is to house more than 30 staff members, more than a dozen treatment rooms, multiple surgery rooms, intensive care, kennels, a pharmacy and more. Langston Animal Hospital, currently at 6642 Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, offers in-house radiology, abdominal and thoracic ultrasound and surgical procedures, among others, alongside routine services such as dentistry, examinations, vaccines, boarding and more.
