Austal is Expanding

Austal recently announced that it completed a previously announced deal, purchasing 15 acres of waterfront property, AL.com reported. The land and facilities, on the west side of the Mobile River, will assist in diversifying Austal’s Mobile shipyard, allowing post-delivery service and steel construction. The seller, Modern American Recycling and Repair Services of Alabama, will continue operating on the rest of the site.
