A proposed project for Africatown called Africatown Heritage House encompasses a 5,000-ft2 building that would house the Clotilda slave ship exhibit, AL.com reports. It would be located at the southwest corner of Wimbush and Whitley streets, behind the Robert L. Hope Community Center.
