Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation Announces Masquerade Ball

The Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation has planned its 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball at the Daphne Civic Center on the evening of June 12. Music from the Cool Rays Band, a live auction, and local food and spirits will celebrate local cancer survivors and patients. Cancer patients in attendance will also have access to an exclusive “Survivor’s Lounge.” Doors will open at 6 p.m., attire is black tie optional, and attendees must be at least 21. The organization is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to patient assistance and community education, while improving the health and wellness of Gulf Coast residents. It helps qualified patients by providing such financial relief as assistance with utility bills, aid for prescription copays, transportation to and from treatment and purchase of necessary medical supplies.
