USA Health Adds Medical Oncologist

MOBILE, Ala. — USA Health in Mobile is expanding its oncology care team with the addition of Dr. Nabin R. Karki, a fellowship-trained medical oncologist who sees patients at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. Karki, also an adjunct assistant professor of interdisciplinary clinical oncology, specializes in the treatment of genitourinary cancers, which are malignancies found in the urinary system and the male reproductive system. He will focus on prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer. Karki completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at MedStar Health. He received his medical degree from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Nepal.
