In Mobile, a local investor paid $1 million for the Lewis Communications building at 1668 Government Street, according to Cameron Weavil of The Weavil Co., who represented the buyer. In Saraland, local investors paid $178,000 for a 2,511-ft2 former restaurant building at 922 Saraland Boulevard and plan to turn it into an event center and restaurant, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who represented the buyers.
