In Gulf Shores, Shoreline Products Co., a wholesale flooring and lumber broker, has leased 2,500 ft2 of class A office space in the Business & Aviation Park off Commerce Park Loop, according to Alla Nikitina of Ryals Realty. Also in Gulf Shores, a four-story, 100-room hotel is to be built south of Commerce Avenue and adjacent to West 2nd Street in the Midtown business area. In Spanish Fort, Cactus Cantina plans to build a 6,250-ft2 restaurant at the corner of Highway 31 and Stagecoach Road, according to the Spanish Fort Planning Commission. In Fairhope, Provision Coffee is to build a drive-thru coffee shop at 23764 Highway 98, according to the Baldwin County Planning Commission, which granted site plan approval. In Mobile, a local investor paid $1 million for the Lewis Communications building at 1668 Government Street, according to Cameron Weavil of The Weavil Co., who represented the buyer. Vallas Realty worked for the seller. In Saraland, local investors paid $178,000 for a 2,511-ft2 former restaurant building at 922 Saraland Boulevard and plan to turn it into an event center and restaurant, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who represented the buyers. Ralph Neal of Inge & Associates worked for the seller.
