Provision Challenges Starbucks

Starbucks recently opened stores in both Daphne and Fairhope. In response, Provision and Provision on the Fly have announced “David > Goliath: A Coffee Challenge.” Owner William Hanes invites Fairhope residents to visit the new Starbucks and bring the receipt to Provision or Provision on the Fly and receive a complimentary drink. He also asks each person to post on social media and compare their experience and drinks. “While it might be natural to fear big corporations negatively impacting our quaint town, we are confident that we have something truly unique in Fairhope that cannot be taken away from us—commitment to our sense of place and one another,” Hanes said. The offer is limited to the first 150 people and ends on October 14.
