Baldwin Health Adds Lazenby

Baldwin Health announced that Dr. Mehgan Lazenby has joined the medical staff as an obstetrics and gynecology provider. Lazenby provides care for women across all stages of life, specializing in routine wellness exams, prenatal and pregnancy care, and complex gynecological treatments. Lazenby earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Louisville. Before completing her medical training, Dr. Lazenby served as an advanced practice nurse. She holds a BS in nursing from Auburn University Montgomery and an MS in nursing as an acute care nurse practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her clinical background includes serving as a medical ICU nurse at Baptist Medical Center South, a certified registered nurse practitioner in hospitalist and pulmonary care and a clinical faculty member at the Auburn University School of Nursing. Lazenby is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has contributed to clinical research published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and authored Quick Pharm for Med Students.
