Naturenauts Coming To Bellingrath

Bellingrath Gardens & Home’s family-friendly NatureNauts event is taking place on June 12 at 9 a.m.-noon in Theodore, The Business View reports. Focusing on the wildlife and ecology of the Gulf Coast, it will include the Raptor Road presented by the Mobile County Public School System’s Environmental Studies Center and include red-tailed hawks, American kestrels, screech owls and more. Additionally, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab will present its “Discovery Hall” touch tables for children featuring the creatures of Mobile Bay. Other environmental organizations present will include Alabama Audubon, the Alabama Coastal Foundation and the Leave No Trace Center. Admission is $16 for adults, $10 for children 5-12 and free for children 4 and younger and for Friends of Bellingrath. Tickets include full-day access to the gardens.
