Dauphin Island Council Updates
The Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council has announced the opening of a new art education/studio building. The Connection reported it is being erected next door to the Dauphin Island Gallery. Art classes for youth and adults will be hosted in it for such activities as painting, pottery, drawing and printmaking. The gallery continues to be open to the public on Thursdays through Sundays. It has also gone virtual via 118 photos on the council’s Facebook page.
