Exploreum Announces Special Exhibit

MOBILE, Ala —  The Exploreum Science Center in Mobile is presenting a special exhibit on Archimedes beginning February 1. “The Science of Archimedes” focuses on the father of modern science’s inventions from more than 2,000 years ago. “Handcrafted by the artisans of Florence, ‘Archimedes’ contains more than 60 exhibits and inventions, many of which are hands-on, allowing visitors the opportunity to use them in an epic, interactive environment,” the Exploreum explained. Guests will be encouraged to explore the machines that continue to influence the technologies of today. The exhibition is composed of four themes: “Ancient Machines,” “Energy Machines,” “The Power of Shapes” and “Archimedes’ Legacy.”
