International Artists Conference Coming To Mobile

The American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA) Conference is being held in Mobile this year on October 11-14 at The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa. More than 150 botanical artists are expected to spend four to seven days in the city at the 29th international event. They will participate in many activities in Downtown Mobile, in local gardens and on the Delta. They will attend the LoDa ArtWalk on October 13, and their artwork will be on display at the Mobile Arts Council Gallery throughout October. Many local artists are members of ABSA and will be participating, as well as hosting. The deadline for sponsorship and contributor information to be included on promotional material is April 1.
