Large Egyptian Exhibit Opens In Mobile

The newest exhibit at the History Museum of Mobile, “Egyptian Mummies and Eternal Life,” recently opened. The traveling exhibit, making its way to the U.S. for the first time, will be at the museum through June 27. It features more than 100 ancient artifacts, including mummies, painted sarcophagi and votive objects. None are reproductions. These circa-3,500-year-old artifacts are available for viewing seven days a week. Admission is free the first Sunday of each month. Those planning to visit on free days are asked to reserve a time slot.
