MMofA Holiday Market, Open House Announced

The Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) will host its annual Holiday Market & Open House on December 14 at 2-5 p.m. at the museum. Featuring an artisan market, live music, food trucks, art activities and free admission to the museum, the event is for all ages. Vendors will offer handmade items including jewelry, pottery and self-care products. Dennis Gould will provide live music, and food trucks will include Frank & Lola’s, Frios, Los Rollin Bros and LuLu’s Shaved Ice. Holiday ornaments may be created by participants to take home, and Muffinjaw Designs will be onsite for visitors to watch live glassblowing. The Museum’s galleries currently include “1960s Hard Edge and Op Art: Tribute to the Responsive Eye,” the newly renovated family favorite “Fantastical Forest,” “Surrealism” and “(Un)Settled: The Landscape in American Art.”
