MSO Announces Beethoven & Blue Jeans

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) has announced its annual casual concert, “Beethoven & Blue Jeans,” for March 12 at 7:30 p.m. and March 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre in Mobile. This year’s performance features Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8. Acclaimed pianist/composer/improviser Charlie Albright will join the orchestra for the “Grieg Piano Concerto.” Three-concert season memberships are $51-$204. Individual tickets are on sale now for $20-$89, with those for students costing $10. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone at 251-432-2010 or at the MSO box office at 257 Dauphin Street. Through MSO’s Big Red Ticket program, sponsored by the Alabama Power Foundation, grade-school students may attend any of the season’s six classical Sunday performances for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
