MSO Announces Holiday Classics Concerts

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) has announced its Holiday Classics concerts for December 16 at 7:30 p.m. and December 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Saenger Theatre Mobile. MSO will be led by guest conductor Robert J. Seebacher, former music director of the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra. The concerts will feature Mobile’s Singing Children and bass singer Kevin Thompson, who has performed in opera houses around the world. Thompson will perform classics like “Ave Maria” and “O Holy Night,” plus have fun with the humorous “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Mobile’s Singing Children will perform traditional carols, as well as John Williams’ popular “Somewhere in My Memory” from Home Alone. Tickets are on sale now for $20-$96 ($10 for students) online, by phone at 251-432-2010 or at the MSO box office at 257 Dauphin Street.
