USS Alabama Crewmates Named

USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park recently announced the selection of Emily Silbernagel as 2022-2023 Miss USS ALABAMA and Crimson Harrison as 2022-2023 Miss USS DRUM. Silbernagel is a freshman at the University of Mobile majoring in healthcare management. Crimson is a freshman at the University of South Alabama majoring in exercise science. Both were selected based on their cumulative scores for strength of interview, test score and participation in events. Silbernagel received a $3,000 scholarship, and Harrison received a $2,500 scholarship to their choice of colleges or universities. Others selected for 2023-2024 USS ALABAMA Crewmates program are Allison Boudreaux, Bailey Scopolites, Larkyn Tyler and Jorjalyn Weaver, each of whom received a $2,000 scholarship. Crewmates represent Battleship Memorial Park and the State of Alabama at a variety of events and public appearances throughout the state. Selection criteria includes poise, appearance, strength of application, references and interviewing with a selection panel.
