BBB Makes Another Acquisition

DAPHNE, Ala. — Daphne’s BBB Industries, LLC, a sustainable automotive aftermarket manufacturer, has acquired MAPCO Autotechnik GmbH, its first German company, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce announced. Founded in 1977, MAPCO is based in Brück, Germany, and specializes in the design and distribution of a range of non-discretionary spare parts and accessories to the automotive aftermarket. It has nine regional centers across Germany. MAPCO also supplies Europe as a whole with 53 product families across the product segments of steering/suspension parts, brakes, drivetrain/bearings, engine environment/filters and electric/accessories. The acquisition follows its acquisition of Houston-based Ontility; Amiganet S.L., aka Renovables del Sur, with operations and subsidiaries in Europe, Mexico and the U.S.; and Cleveland’s Undercar Express, LLC, in November 2021 (BBN #68 and 69).
