Lendingtree Expands Small Business Grants

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. — Charlotte, North Carolina-based LendingTree, which sponsors Mobile’s LendingTree Bowl, has announced it will double the number of recipients in its LendaHand Small Business Grant Program, raising its total contributions to small businesses in Mobile County to $40,000. The program will also lower the annual minimum income requirements, which will help more local companies qualify for one of the four $10,000 grants. LendingTree will also select four small businesses to highlight on its social media channels and through advertising associated with the game throughout bowl season. Local businesses that have 25 or fewer employees and have been in operation for more than a year can apply through September 30.
