LendingTree Opens Application for Mobile Grants

LendingTree has announced that, “as part of the LendingTree Bowl experience,” it has launched LendaHand, a small-business grant program for those in Mobile. Businesses can apply through October 1, and two winners will be selected later that month. Each will receive a $10,000 grant. Applying businesses must be within the city of Mobile, have fewer than 25 full-time employees, have been in operation for no less than one year (with two years preferred) and have more than $100,000 in gross revenue as determined via application. Preference will be given to women, minority and veteran-owned businesses. Nonprofits, liquor stores, check-cashing agencies, gun shops, pawn shops and adult entertainment enterprises are not eligible.
