New Horizons Awards $5,000 In Scholarships

New Horizons Credit Union has again awarded five high school seniors each with a $1,000 scholarship as part of its scholarship for 2025. Based on academic achievement, community involvement and essay responses, the program has been going strong for more than 23 years and awarded more than $90,000. To qualify for consideration, a student must be a graduating high school senior and have a New Horizons New Wave Youth Savings Account. The recipients are Addison Byrd of Citronelle High School, Shelby Blake of Satsuma High School, Kate Ferguson of Mobile Christian School, and Lily Morgan and Morgan Parker of Alma Bryant High School.
