New Horizons Recognized For Excellence

MOBILE, Ala. — America Saves, a nonprofit initiative of the national Consumer Federation of America, has named Mobile-based New Horizons Credit Union among recipients of its 2022 America Saves Designation of Savings Excellence Award for the fifth consecutive year. This annual award recognizes organizations that participated in this year’s America Saves Week by promoting saving strategies. New Horizons said that during the campaign, it “went above and beyond with educating members about direct deposit, ‘New Start’ checking, ‘GreenPath Financial Wellness’ and ‘Horizons Heroes’ accounts.” It added that its mission includes financial education, which includes offering free credit-building and -saving resources.
