SBA Announces Alabama Panel, Program
MOBILE, BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — The Alabama District Office of the Small Business Administration (SBA) is holding “Alabama Resources for Veteran Entrepreneurs” virtually on May 24 at 12-1 p.m. The panel will discuss economic development resources for veterans living in the state. Speakers will focus on support programs for veterans and military personnel interested in self-employment and starting a business. SBA has also opened applications open for its T.H.R.I.V.E Emerging Leaders Reimagined Program, which gives small business professionals the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals over six months. The no-cost program is open to small business owners and executives who have annual revenues of at least $250,000, have been in business for at least three years and have at least one employee other than themselves. Applications close on May 31, and the program is to run July-December 2022.
