Small Business Development Center February Events
MOBILE, Ala. — The Alabama Small Business Development Center has announced several free events for the remainder of the month. First is the webinar “Branding & Web Design 101 with BRANDelta” on February 11 at 12-1 p.m. Next is another webinar, “A Taste for Success: USDA Programs for Rural Businesses,” on February 15 at 12-1 p.m. The first of a seven-part online series, “Federal Procurement: Is It Right For Your SB?” is also being held on February 15, at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. “Doing Business With FEMA” is another online event, taking place on February 16 at 12-1 p.m. “DCAA Incurred Cost Submissions” is a February 17 webinar being held at 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The following in-person seminars are set for the Battle House Renaissance Hotel & Spa in Mobile on February 22: “Opportunities for Small Business from New Infrastructure Law” at 9-9:50 a.m., “Big Data for Small Business at SAM.gov” at 10-10:50 a.m., “Uncle Sam Needs You!” at 11-11:50 a.m., the “Lunch & Learn” “Leadership During the Great Resignation” at 12-1 p.m., “Doing Business with the City of Mobile” and “Navigating the Internet to Find Procurement Opportunities” at 1-1:50 p.m. and “CMMC: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification” at 2-2:50 p.m. Grow with Google and Pamela Starr are presenting the "Make Your Website Work for You" webinar on February 24 at 9-10 a.m. The “GSA Contract Administration” webinar is taking place concurrently but lasts until 11 a.m. Finally, February 24 will see the "Starting a Business in Baldwin County" in-person seminar at the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in Bay Minette.
