CABC’s Coastal Tailgate Cook-Off Announced

The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber (CABC) is holding the third-annual Coastal Tailgate Cook-Off Challenge at The Wharf in Orange Beach on August 23 at 12-3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of foods, featuring tailgate-style sandwich foods (e.g., po’ boys, hot dogs, wraps, tacos and sliders) in a tailgating atmosphere. Tailgating teams will be competing for a golden ticket to the World Food Championships in Indianapolis. Attendees will vote on a People’s Choice Award, with the winning team receiving a trophy and prize package. The best-dressed fan will also receive an award, and attendees can also expect live music and games. The entry fee to take part in the challenge is $100. It is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages who can compete either as individuals or as a team. Admission with a pack of 10 sampling tickets is $20, and additional tickets are available for $10 per five. Admission is free for children aged 5 and under, and sponsorships are available by contacting CABC’s Kimberly Ray at email.
