Eastern Shore Mayors In “State Of The Cities”

Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort mayors participated in a “State of the Cities” event with local business leaders, FOX10 reports. Organized by the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce and planned to be recurring, it marks the first time all three mayors have met in such a format. In the February 24 iteration, chamber members asked questions and were answered by Fairhope Mayor Sherry Sullivan, Daphne Mayor Robin LeJuene and Spanish Fort Mayor Mike McMillian on such topics as COVID-19’s impact on the local economy, Hurricane Sally recovery, the new Mobile River Bridge plans and explosive growth. The sold-out event was integrated into the chamber’s monthly “Eggs N’ Issues.”
