SWMCC Announces Christmas Events

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) has announced several Christmas-themed events for the holiday season. First is its Christmas Tree Lighting for November 17 at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. There will be hot cocoa, cookies, vendors, Santa, entertainment and more. Those interested in having a booth may apply using this form through November 7. Next is the chamber’s VIP Pancakes and Pajamas with Santa on December 5 at 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. Tickets are on sale for $25. Santa and the Grinch will be present. SWMCC’s Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa will take place the next day, December 6, at 8-10 a.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. Breakfast is free for children ages 10 and younger, and others may purchase breakfast for $5 per person. Finally, the SWMCC Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. on December 6 at W.C. Griggs Elementary School. Floats will compete to win in “Best Decorated Float” under the theme “‘How the Chamber Stole Christmas’ (Whoville/The Grinch).” Those interested in participating should apply using this form
