SWMCC Car Show, BBQ Cook-Off Coming Up

MOBILE, Ala. — The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) is holding the Roll’n Smoke Car Show and BBQ Cook-Off on September 17 at 9 a.m.-2 p.m at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. A new addition this year is jumpies and other activities for children. Cars and trucks of all ages will be allowed to participate for a fee of $25 each. The entry fee of $5 per person older than 12 includes a wristband and five voting tickets for each event. Children 12 and under get it free but do not get voting tickets. Votes are cut off at 1 p.m., and winners are announced at 1:45 p.m. The charge for a vendor/merchant space is $40.
