SWMCC Renews Statewide Accreditation

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce (SWMCC) has announced its re-accreditation by the Alabama Accredited Chamber of Commerce program (AACC). There are currently 29 chambers that hold the AACC designation, which is granted after a peer-review process in the areas of organization, mission focus, professional administration, financial management, communications and advocacy. “AACC was established in 2016 as one of the most prestigious programs of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama,” SWMCC said. In addition to setting standards of excellence for chambers in the state, the program promotes public awareness of chambers as organizations for community development and business membership.
