Orange Beach Festival Of Art Set For March 9

The 51st Orange Beach Festival of Art, to feature more than 100 visual, performing, musical and culinary artists, is taking place on March 8 at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and March 9 at 10 a.m-4 p.m. at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach on Canal Road. The free event will include music from Wiley Pete, Doug Drake & Tennessee Tim, the Groovinators, Holloway and Company, Ben Lake, Roman Street and Swamp Water Symphony; a “Kids Art Alley”; and live visual arts demonstrations including hot glass blowing and cool clay sculpting. Gourmet offerings will be presented in a culinary arts area, and food vendors include SugarLove, Tin Tin’s Rock n Roll Food Truck and Will Yums. New this year is a literary arts tent featuring discussions, readings and book signings from Mike Bunn, Carolyn Haines, Joe Cuhaj, Patricia Black-Gould, Jessica Jones and Charlotte Pence.
