Best Of The Bay Set For March

The Kiwanis Club of Daphne – Spanish Fort has announced Best of the Bay 2024 for March 21 at 6-8 p.m. at the Daphne Civic Center. Its goals include “bringing together the best chefs in Baldwin County for a thrilling cook-off, all while raising funds for the children of the community.” It will offer a modified “Taste of the Towns,” in which professional and amateur chefs will be invited to a cook-off-style competition with multiple categories. Attendees will have the chance to cast their votes for the People’s Choice Awards and witness the crowning of the Best of the Bay 2024 Overall Grand Prize Award. There will also be surprise celebrity judges, a split the pot, scholarship awards and a live auction with Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mack. Live music will be by Disco Kiss, a Gulf Coast-based rock-and-roll cover band spanning hits from the 1970s to the 2000s. Tickets are $50.
