Further Expansion, Move For Grand Bay Church

GRAND BAY, Ala. — The Cowboy Baptist Church has moved to an 8,000-ft2 building on 20 acres, according to The Connection. What started as a 15-person congregation in Calep Lewis’ living room in August 2013 has grown to a 200-plus-member organization that has outgrown multiple locations but remained in Grand Bay until now. Its new site is at 11835 Argyle Road in Irvington and has a larger kitchen area that allows feeding of more people each Sunday morning and Wednesday night. Former names of the church include Higher Ground Church, Bayview Baptist Church and New Beginning Church.
