Activities include exploring the Gulf of Mexico on the Alabama Discovery research vessel, touring the Mobile Delta in a kayak, studying the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta ecosystem and native vegetation at the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center and working with coastal engineers and other local professionals to learn how to minimize human impact on the coastal environment.
